1. What this policy covers

This policy explains cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies used on Turnover’s public website. Authenticated Turnover services may also use essential storage needed for login, authorization, security, and application operation.

2. Essential preference storage

The public website stores a first-party analytics-consent preference so it can remember whether a visitor selected “Essential Only” or “Allow Optional Analytics.” The current preference is designed to remain for up to 180 days using first-party browser storage. This preference is necessary to respect and remember the visitor’s choice and does not enable optional analytics by itself.

3. Optional first-party analytics

Optional analytics stays off until the visitor takes the affirmative action of selecting “Allow Optional Analytics.” When enabled, limited interaction events are sent directly to Turnover’s own website backend. These may include:

• public page and section views;
• labeled links, navigation items, and buttons clicked;
• broad scroll-depth milestones;
• approximate engaged time;
• referring domain and UTM campaign values;
• broad device category and screen dimensions; and
• a session identifier stored for the browser session.

The implementation is designed not to intentionally record typed text, form contents, keystrokes, exact mouse movements, names, email addresses, phone numbers, full device fingerprints, or a raw IP address in the custom analytics event payload.

4. Storage currently used by the public site

• Analytics preference: first-party browser storage used to remember “Essential Only” or “Allow Optional Analytics,” currently for up to 180 days.
• Analytics session identifier: session storage used only after optional analytics is allowed, intended to expire with the browser session.
• Internal analytics exclusion: an administrator/testing preference may be stored on a browser to keep Turnover’s own testing traffic out of public analytics.

Names, implementations, and durations may change as the website evolves. This policy will be updated when a material change affects visitor choices.

5. Server connection data

Like most websites, hosting and security infrastructure may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver pages, maintain logs, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and protect the site. This server-side processing is separate from the optional public-site analytics choice.

6. Essential-only use

Selecting “Essential Only” keeps optional public-site analytics off. The public website remains usable for normal browsing, contact, and trial navigation without optional analytics. Technologies strictly necessary for security, network communication, authentication, or a service explicitly requested by the user may still operate as needed.

7. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can reopen the preference panel at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics from that browser; it does not retroactively invalidate processing that occurred while consent was active.

8. No sale or ad targeting

Turnover does not sell personal information and does not currently use the public site’s optional analytics for third-party behavioral advertising.
