A simple choice, with optional analytics off until accepted.
The Turnover public website uses essential preference storage and optional first-party analytics that goes directly to Turnover’s website backend.
1. What the website stores
The public website stores a first-party consent preference so the site can remember whether a visitor selected “Essential Only” or “Allow Anonymous Analytics.” The preference is designed to remain for up to 180 days using first-party browser storage.
2. Essential storage
Essential storage remembers the analytics choice and supports basic website operation. Choosing “Essential Only” keeps optional analytics off. The website remains usable without optional analytics.
3. Optional first-party analytics
When a visitor affirmatively allows analytics, the website may send limited interaction events directly to Turnover’s own website backend. The events may include:
- Public page views and section views.
- Labeled links, buttons, or navigation items clicked.
- Broad scroll-depth milestones.
- Approximate time spent on a page.
- Referring domain and UTM campaign values.
- Broad mobile, tablet, desktop, and screen-size categories.
The analytics implementation is designed not to record typed text, form contents, keystrokes, exact mouse movements, names, email addresses, phone numbers, full user-agent strings, or device fingerprints.
4. Server connection data
Like most websites, the hosting environment may process connection information, including an IP address and technical request details, to deliver the website, maintain logs, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and protect security. The custom Turnover analytics event file is designed not to intentionally store a raw IP address.
5. No third-party visitor-identification tag
The current intended implementation does not load a third-party visitor-identification tag. Optional analytics is intended to go directly to Turnover’s own website backend.
6. Changing the choice
Use the Cookie Settings button in the website footer to reopen the consent panel. Clearing browser storage may also remove the saved choice.
7. No sale of personal data
Turnover sells operational software solutions, not personal data.
